InformationWeek, along with its network of authoritative brands including Network Computing and Dark Reading, produced a total of eighteen events in 2009. The InformationWeek 500 Virtual Event was recognized by min’s Best of the Web Award as the 2009 Best Virtual Event.
Highlights from 2009 include:
- Over 2000 registrants per event – a number that surpassed all its attendance goals by 140%
- On average, attendees spent 2 hours and 13 minutes per event
- Over 900 content clicks and 205 downloads per booth per event
- 98% of users find the experience of attending easy or reasonable
- 96% found InformationWeek virtual events to be valuable
