InformationWeek has always taken great pride in its industry knowledge, formed through the deep relationships it maintains with its readers and our industry’s technology providers. To that end we began conducting a series of editors days in 2010.
Date: June 8, 2010
Location: UBM TechWeb Corporate Office, Framingham
Theme: Content Management, Collaboration & Healthcare
Request Appointment: [email protected]
The editors in attendance include (and this is a pretty powerful lineup from our side):
- Rob Preston, Editor In Chief, InformationWeek
- Doug Henschen, Editor of Intelligent Enterprise (he also covers enterprise software for InformationWeek )
- Marianne McGee, Senior Writer, InformationWeek Healthcare
- Fritz Nelson, Editorial Director, InformationWeek
- David Berlind, Chief Content Officer, Techweb
We are not promising coverage out of this event, although that could happen, especially if there is some news angle that comes with the visit. The idea is we are looking to hear about your overall strategy, some of the deeper technical aspects of your technology, and most certainly some of the latest news and hopefully future direction (which we can treat under NDA if desired). Naturally we are looking toward meeting with the most senior representatives of your respective companies – those who can talk strategy AND get into the details.
If you would like to be considered for our editors day on June 8, or subsequent ones, please e-mail me directly at [email protected]. If you have a particular editor in mind for your meeting, due to past relationships, etc., we will do our best to accommodate. We will often be placing more than one editor in each meeting. We will send time slots (we’re going from 9 am – 4 pm) and address, and any other particulars once we’ve filled the schedule. Also e-mail me if you have questions.
Finally, for everyone — we realize this is on the East Coast and some of you are not there. If you can make it, we will greatly appreciate the effort. Otherwise, we will have some West Coast editors days as well, later in the year. We look forward to seeing everyone.
