According to Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs' recent report, “2014 B2B Content Marketing Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends—North America”, 93% of b2b marketers use content marketing. Not a big surprise, right?
What really caught my attention was the habits of the most effective b2b content marketers. I would have thought that being "challenged with producing engaging content" would drive marketers to be more effective with their time, but that does not seem to be the case. Having a strategy, and someone to own it, is far more important than being told to create "good stuff."
Now that we're in Q4, how many of you are starting to work on your 2014 content marketing strategy? And have you decided who will make sure your team follows through on that strategy?
